Screenprint is one of the most widely used media with which to print images and patterns onto fabrics. In this workshop we will explore some of the technical and creative possibilities of printing onto fabrics such as tee-shirts, tote bags and small flags or banners. We will also look at using screens to print swatches for making up into samples and as a component of collage and applique work.
Further details of this and other screenprint workshop will be added shortly, and we will email you before these workshops with suggestions about suitable imagery, designs and pattern elements that you might bring as a starting point for your image.
Meanwhile please email us if you have any immediate ideas or questions.
Screenprint is a processs that has attracted many user queries so far. We are in the process of putting together some bids for additional project funding to help develop this exciting and accessible medium over the coming months.
